Dr. Bonnee Breese Bentum
About Me
Bonnee Breese Bentum, Ph.D., is an award-winning educator, speaker, and advocate teaching ELA at Science Leadership Academy at Beeber. She serves as a national AI-Integrated ELA Program Developer with WritingPartners.net, pioneering approaches to develop the next generation of prompt engineers. Selected to participate in President Obama’s 2009 White House Online Town Hall, she continues to shape educational policy and practice. She recently completed her dissertation on supporting Black girls in STEM classrooms and founded A Matter of Xpression, providing global STEM education resources. Her accolades include the Lindback Distinguished Teacher Award and participation in the US Fulbright Teachers for Global Classrooms program in Ghana. A frequent speaker at national conferences on ELA, STEM integration for Black students, and AI integration in education. Bonnee also has addressed the U.S. Supreme Court for the American Federation of Teachers. Bonnee advances educational equity through her work and by her work with the Delaware County Black Caucus and serves as an elected Pennsylvania State Committee member.
